I'm Joe — a video editor and motion graphics artist in Leeds, ten years in the edit. I take on freelance and contract work end to end: offline edit, grade, motion graphics, sound and delivery in every ratio you need.
Rates below are what I charge, plainly. No day-one negotiation, no hidden extras.
Rates
The default. Most jobs are booked this way.
For tweaks, versioning and short jobs that don't need a full day.
Booked as a block — saves £100 on five separate days.
Monthly retainer
Reserved capacity — days held in my calendar for you each month, so there's no scramble when something needs turning around.
Priced per month and discounted against the day rate. Tell me the volume you're expecting and I'll put a number to it.

All licensed to me — nothing for you to buy, install or seat.
AI in the edit
I keep the toolkit current. Generative models now put shots on screen that would once have needed a shoot day, and AI clears the mechanical work — so more of the budget lands in the edit, and a first cut comes back in 48 hours.
Send the brief
Dates you need covered, deliverables, ratios and the deadline. A rough idea is enough to price it.
I confirm
Availability, day count and a fixed number, in writing, before anything starts. No surprises on the invoice.

Then revisions, grade, sound and delivery to spec — in every ratio the media plan needs.
