This site is run by Joe Rendell, a video editor and motion graphics artist based in Leeds, UK. Here's what happens with your data, in plain English.

The contact form

If you send an enquiry, the name, email address, project type and message you provide are stored securely in this site's database and emailed to Joe so he can reply. That's the only thing this information is used for — responding to you about your project. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or added to any mailing list.

Video embeds

The videos on this site are hosted by Vimeo and play in embedded players. Vimeo may set cookies or collect viewing data when a video loads — the embeds here are configured with Vimeo's "Do Not Track" option to minimise this. See Vimeo's privacy policy for details on how they handle data.

Stored on your device

The site remembers video watch progress using your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is not sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Analytics

If analytics are used on this site, they are privacy-focused and cookieless — aggregate page-view counts only, with no personal profiles and nothing that tracks you across other websites.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email joerendell@gmail.com and it'll be sorted.
